Boy rushed to hospital after shock attack by classmate at primary school as staff launch immediate probe

A BOY has been rushed to hospital after a random attack by a classmate at primary school.

Staff have launched an “immediate probe” into the attack at Mere Green Primary School in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.

It is understood a pupil was attacked after the school bell rang at around 3.30pm on Tuesday, December 3.

The boy suffered” potentially serious injuries” and was raced to hospital by paramedics.
