BASSETERRE – Amir Jangoo turned a childhood fantasy into reality by scoring a One-Day International (ODI) century on debut as the West Indies pulled off another record chase to defeat Bangladesh by four wickets and complete a series sweep yesterday at Warner Park.
The 27-year-old Jangoo gave himself the perfect Christmas gift, scoring an unbeaten 104, while Keacy Carty blasted 95 and the West Indies chased down Bangladesh’s imposing 321-5, finishing on 325-6 off 45.5 overs to comprehensively claim the series 3-0.
