RCPD asks drivers to avoid closed road in East Manhattan
MANHATTAN (KSNT) - The Riley County Police Department (RCPD) is urging drivers to avoid an area where trees are down.
Monday evening, RCPD posted on social media to avoid the area of North 5th Street and Moro Street. This comes as crews work to clear fallen trees from the roadway due to strong winds in the area.
Assistance now available for low-income Kansans
According to RCPD, the area will be closed for a few hours, and encourage drivers to find alternate routes.
