Girl, 14, dies after ‘unexplained medical emergency’ at rugby club
The girl was treated at the scene at Amman United’s grounds before being taken to hospital
A teenage girl has died after becoming unwell at a Welsh rugby club on Friday evening.
Paramedics were called to Amman United RFC in Ammanford, south Wales, shortly before 10pm.
Three units arrived by road and treated the 14-year-old, who has not been named, but a decision was made to scramble an air ambulance around 45 minutes later.
The emergency helicopter landed on the pitch at 11.35pm...
