Longtime Breaux Bridge city councilman Ernest Ledet laid to rest

BREAUX BRIDGE, La. (KLFY) -- A pillar of the Breaux Bridge community has been laid to rest.

The funeral of Ernest Ledet, a longtime city council member, took place Saturday attended by over 100 people at Saint Francis of Assisi Church.

Ledet's casket was brought to the church for the funeral service in a carriage, with his family following close behind him. After the funeral, attendees gathered at the cemetery to say their final goodbyes.
