Traffic police in Delhi slaps fines totalling Rs 1 crore for violations after GRAP-3 invoked

Delhi Traffic Police issued approximately 550 challans, totaling over Rs one crore in fines, to owners of BS III petrol and BS IV diesel vehicles on the first day of their ban under GRAP III. An additional 4,855 vehicles were fined for lacking valid Pollution Under Control Certificates (PUCC), amounting to Rs 4.8 crore in fines.
