Don’t Quit on a Friday Night Lights Reboot

The highs, lows, and woes of high school football might be hitting the next generation. A new version of Friday Night Lights is reportedly in the works at Universal Television. But don’t except Taylor Kitsch to be walking around the school hallways. In 2022, Kitsch told Variety he’d never do a reboot or revival series: “You may see it, but I will not be a part of it. I’m done. I’m good.” Well, good thing the in-development series is focusing on a new group of football hopefuls.
