One-year-old boy dies after High Court rules to withdraw his life support

A one-year-old boy severe and irreversible neuromuscular disease has died after a High Court judge ruled his treatment should stop.

Ayden Braqi died at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) on Thursday with his family around him, shortly after the mechanical ventilation keeping him alive was withdrawn.
