Mum-of-four killed in house fire while children flee inferno

A mum-of-four who was killed in a house fire this weekend has been described as an ‘outstanding mum’ in a touching tribute.

Kate Mulcahy, 37, was found dead inside the home in Oldham, Manchester, after a blaze broke out in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A number of her children escaped, but Kate was discovered lifeless inside. She is survived by her four children.
