BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Louisiana State Police arrested a Louisiana State University student after an investigation into a death threat made against Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry.
Jackson Pemberton, 21, of Baton Rouge, was charged with threatening a public official.
A trooper was given a photo of a post from X, formerly known as Twitter. The post said, "I am going to kill you, @JeffLandry," according to the affidavit.
LSP determined that the post was made on Tuesday, Nov.
