Two new Polio cases reported in Pakistan

Following a rise in polio cases in Pakistan, the country’s media has reported two new cases of polio, or child paralysis, identified in the province of Balochistan.

According to Pakistani media reports, the number of positive polio cases in Pakistan has reached 48 this year.

Previously, officials responsible for polio prevention in Pakistan had reported two new cases of the disease in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
