Marin election update: Colbert increases lead in supervisor race

A fresh batch of Marin County election results on Friday showed that Brian Colbert has extended his lead over Heather McPhail Sridharan in the runoff for a Board of Supervisors seat.

On Election Day, Colbert, a member of the San Anselmo Town Council, had 50.69% of the vote for the District 2 seat. The update on Friday pushed Colbert to 51.23%.

Only a fraction of the votes cast countywide will affect the District 2 race, which covers Fairfax, San Anselmo, Ross, Larkspur, southwest San Rafael...
