Police arrest Zamfara man for abducting, defiling teenager

A 28-year-old man, Hassan Muhammad, has been nabbed by Gombe State Police command for allegedly forcefully taking 16-year-old Zaliha Ibrahim, to Kano State in a bid marry her. According to the state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Buhari Abdullahi, the suspect had approached Ibrahim’s father who had requested for more time before giving his consent.
