APD: 1 dead after north Austin motorcycle crash

AUSTIN (KXAN) — One person died after a motorcycle crash happened over the weekend in north Austin, the Austin Police Department said in a news release Monday.

Officers responded to the deadly crash near the East Anderson Lane service road westbound and Interstate 35 on Nov. 2 around 3:38 a.m., the release said. The motorcyclist, identified as 18-year-old Ronny Perez, was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police.
