3 killed in Helicopter crash near Iowa, La.

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KLFY) - 3 people were killed in a Helicopter crash late Friday night in Calcasieu Parish.

Authorities say the crash happened in the 5000 block of Hecker Road in Iowa. When they arrived on the scene, the helicopter was on fire in the roadway. Authorities say they found three victims killed. They are identified as Jared Savant, 50, his wife Tanya Savant, 35, and their 2 year old baby, all of Kinder, Louisiana.
