Most running shoes follow a familiar formula. There’s a fabric upper that wraps around the foot for a snug fit, a foam midsole to cushion your strides, and an outsole to provide grip. The Adidas 4DFWD, however, is not like most running shoes. This unique sneaker eschews the traditional foam midsole in favor of a futuristic-looking 3D-printed sole design that promotes smooth strides.
