Smash your old Halloween pumpkins at Hudson River Park

MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – Get rid of your old jack-o'-lantern in a cathartic way this weekend – by smashing it with a hammer. 

This Saturday, Hudson River Park will have tools like bats, hammers and shovels set up to wreck leftover pumpkins from Halloween. The event kicks off at 11 a.m. at Pier 84 near West 44th Street.
