Topeka flower shop to close after 21 years as owner retires

TOPEKA (KSNT) - A north Topeka flower and tuxedo rental shop is shutting down this month after serving the community for more than two decades.

27 News spoke with Brenda Wenrich, owner of Heaven Scent Flowers and Tuxedos, who confirms she will close up shop for the last time on Friday, Nov. 22. Her business has been around for 21 years, serving locals with flowers, gifts and tuxedo rentals for everything from weddings to proms.

"I didn't know anything about north Topeka when we bought this building," Wenrich said.
