Today’s weather: Rain is on the way

Rain and maybe even the odd isolated storm is expected to hit large parts of Cyprus at some point on Friday.

Downpours have been forecast for the mountains, inland areas, and coastal areas in the western half of the island, with the rest of the day expected to be partly cloudy.

Temperatures are still set to rise to a high of 27 degrees Celsius inland and on the coasts, and 17 degrees Celsius in the mountains, with heightened amounts of dust to be present in the atmosphere.
