Three Miners die in Gold-Washing site collapse in Afghanistan’s Badakhshan

Local officials in Badakhshan province have reported the deaths of three workers following the collapse of a gold-washing site in the Arghanjkhwa district.

Ehsanullah Kamgar, spokesperson for the Badakhshan police command, announced in a statement that the incident took place on Tuesday, October 29, at a gold-washing workshop in the Taqarcha area of Arghanjkhwa district.

According to the statement, after several hours of effort, the bodies of the workers were recovered from the debris and handed over to their families.
