Acadiana Eats: New Iberia World Championship Gumbo Cookoff

NEW IBERIA, La. (KLFY) -- The second weekend in October means it's time once again for the World Championship Gumbo Cookoff in New Iberia.

Festivities begin in New Iberia on Saturday, Oct. 12, with the 75-team gumbo cookoff taking place on Sunday.

Live music including Chubby Carrier on Saturday and Geno Delafose on Sunday.

This event is free to enter but you will need money for your food and drinks.
