KATHLEEN, Fla. (WFLA) — Two homes were swallowed by a large hole Wednesday in a Kathleen, Florida, neighborhood in Polk County. The wild scene raised concerns about whether the ground collapse was caused by a sinkhole or water damage from sewage issues.
The damage occurred on Willow Wisp Drive, where both home foundations caved in, leaving a large crater.
