A man developed a flesh-eating disease after he was bitten by a spider on his stomach while he was lying in bed.
Nigel Hunt, 59, from the Isles of Scilly, was bitten by what is believed to either be a false widow or brown recluse spider just before his holiday to Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
He felt fine to begin with but was sick two days later and started to feel worse as the bite got bigger.
