Reports indicate widespread anti-government protests in Bangladesh have escalated into violent clashes between protesters and government forces, resulting in at least 95 fatalities.
According to the Associated Press, the death toll from the violent protests in Bangladesh, which began last month, has now risen to 200.
The protesters, initially responding to the government’s job quota system, are now demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
