In Rewari, an explosion at Lifelong Pvt Ltd in March caused by an electrostatic charge or a spark from a buffing machine led to the deaths of 16 workers. The National Safety Council's report indicated no gross negligence but noted safety violations. Compensation disparities for victims were reported, and the case has now been closed by NGT.
