Port Clinton doctor ordered to pay $4.7 million, barred from prescribing opioids

A Port Clinton doctor who was sentenced this year to 42 months in prison for illegally dispensing narcotics to patients, has been prohibited from prescribing opioids and other controlled substances and ordered to pay $4.7 million in a case alleging violations of the Controlled Substances Act and the False Claims Act.
