Ballmer’s nonprofit, USAFacts, is launching a series of 30-minute PSAs that explore the biggest issues of this election year through data.

The biggest risk to global safety over the next two years may not be war or extreme weather, but misinformation. According to the World Economic Forum’s 2024 Global Risks Report, which ranked the planet’s most urgent priorities, misinformation could “radically disrupt electoral processes in several economies” and “trigger civil unrest and possibly confrontation.”
