A highly critical report from the Justice Department’s watchdog largely clears former Attorney General Bill Barr of any responsibility for pushing out protestors from Lafayette Park near the White House during racial justice protests in the summer of 2020.
The park was cleared ahead of a photo op by Trump, who crossed the park to make a statement while holding a bible in front of a church opposite the White House.
