Budget strikes fine balance between growth, employment, and capex: FM

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman stated that the Union Budget 2024-25 balanced growth, employment, and capital investment while maintaining fiscal discipline. Cooperative federalism was emphasized with increased state resources. The budget aimed to attract manufacturing, comply with fiscal deficit targets, and supported agriculture and financial improvement in Jammu and Kashmir.
