A renewed yellow weather warning is in place for high temperatures on Wednesday, in effect from 11am until 4pm.
The day will be mostly clear with increased afternoon clouds in the mountains expected to bring isolated rains. Temperatures will rise to 40C in the interior, 33C on the west and south-west coasts, 37C on the remaining coasts, and 32C in the higher mountains. Winds will initially be variable, weak, up to 3 Beaufort, gradually turning south-to north-westerly, up to moderate, 4 Beaufort.
