Three Alabama universities have closed their diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) offices to comply with a state law.
The University of Alabama (UA) System campuses, including the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the University of Alabama in Huntsville, announced Tuesday the offices would be closed by Oct. 1 to comply with the law.
