JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) - The woman charged in connection to the abduction of two Louisiana girls, which ended with one of them dead in Mississippi, appeared in court on Tuesday.
According to court documents, the trial for Victoria Cox, 32, in Hinds County Circuit Court has been scheduled for March 24 at 11 a.m.
On Tuesday, a court order appointed Attorney Chris Routh as Cox's counsel. The documents stated that Routh will represent Cox in trial and litigation proceedings within the courts of Hinds County.
