PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Salem woman was sentenced to nine years in prison for more than 150 counts of mail theft and several other charges, authorities said.
According to the Polk County District Attorney's Office, 47-year-old Michelle Nadine Ray was given 108 months in prison — a sentencing that took into account the high number of victims of the crimes as well as the fact that Ray was on pre-trial release for unrelated crimes in other Oregon Counties.
