The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has reported that the death toll from recent storms, heavy rains, and floods in several provinces of the country has risen to 58.
On Monday, July 22, OCHA released a report stating that an additional 380 people were injured due to the storms and floods.
According to OCHA’s report, 9,925 families have been affected by these natural disasters, and 550 returnee tents at the Torkham transit point have been destroyed.
