PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Sick of the heat? Well, you have a good reason, because the National Weather Service just revealed Portland’s latest heat wave lasted for nearly three weeks.
Sunday, July 21 marked the first day that Portland reached a “below average max temperature for the date” since July 2, according to NWS Portland. That means temperatures were above average for this time of year for at least 18 days in a row.
