A new contender has claimed the win at Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog-Eating Championship!
The annual contest took place at Coney Island in New York City on the Fourth of July. This year, 16-time winner Joey Chestnut was banned from competing due to a conflict of interest stemming from a deal with another hot dog brand.
With him out of the way, a new winner ate 58 hot dogs in 10 minutes to secure the win. The next closest contender was over ten hot dogs behind.
