NEW YORK (PIX11) – Hurricane Beryl, a Category 4 storm, is making its way toward Jamaica on Wednesday after leaving a path of destruction in the southeast Caribbean.
The storm left at least six people dead, according to The Associated Press. Wind gusts topping out at 145 mph, heavy rainfall and life-threatening storm surges are all predicted to affect Jamaica, per the National Hurricane Center.
