Manchester City have joined Manchester United in the race for the services of Everton centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite, according to the Sun.
The Red Devils have had the defender on their radar for almost a year and have already submitted a £45 million bid for him.
However, it was swiftly rejected as Everton want £80m for Branthwaite, and Man City are now looking to pounce.
The 22-year-old is very keen on moving to Man United this summer despite their failure to qualify for the Champions League.
