The European Union announced sending 98 tons of humanitarian aid, including medical supplies, to Afghanistan.
Katarina Kertysova, the EU spokesperson in Afghanistan, stated on Sunday, June 30th, that this aid is earmarked for children suffering from malnutrition and flood victims.
Raffaella Iodice, EU representative in Afghanistan, posted on social media platform X: “Today, 98 tons of vital medical equipment entered Afghanistan through EU’s humanitarian air bridge.”
