SANTA MONICA — A fight involving about 20 men near the Santa Monica Pier on Saturday afternoon left one man with a stab wound, one man with a possibly broken ankle and five men in custody.
The “altercation” occurred around 2:20 p.m. Saturday, Santa Monica police Officer D. Hodgson told City News Service.
The fight was near Tower 14, north of the pier, police said.
“I can confirm one victim had an injury consistent with a stab wound,” Hodgson said. The wound was not believed life-threatening.
