The Dulaney girls lacrosse team made a repeat trip to the state championship game and for the second straight season, they were defeated by Severna Park.
It was the 16th state title for the Falcons and while the Lions (13-7) didn’t win it all, they had an exciting trip to the Class 3A final. In the quarterfinals, the Lions defeated Sherwood, 13-12, and in the semis they slipped past Marriotts Ridge, 6-4, for their 10th consecutive victory.
That included Baltimore County and regional titles.
