NEW YORK (PIX11) – A heat advisory was issued Tuesday for areas north and west of New York City as temperatures will surge over 90 degrees.
An excessive heat watch was also issued for inland areas starting Wednesday, as some parts of the tri-state area will see the heat index pass 100 degrees.
