ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Splash pads opened a little earlier this year in the City of Albany to help people beat the heat and, according to Mayor Kathy Sheehan, give kids something to do.
“With the heat that we're expecting today, and over the next few days, thanks to the incredible hard work of our Department of General Services...our spray pads are ready," said Sheehan.
Among the splash pads at several parks that open are Lincoln Park, North Swan Street Park, and Sheridan Park.
