TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The city of Troy has received federal funding to remove thousands of lead pipes from several homes in the city. The nearly $13 million is the latest step in the ongoing work to remove lead from the city water system.
U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer said progress has been made in the removal process, but residents can help continue the work.
