RED HOOK, Brooklyn (PIX11) -- Mayor Eric Adams announced plans to redevelop 120 acres of Brooklyn’s coastline into housing, a modern maritime port, and green space.
The redevelopment area, operated by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, stretches over a mile from the southern edge of Brooklyn Bridge Park down to Red Hook, according to Bloomberg.
