The Daily Gazette switches hands after 130 years
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The Daily Gazette has switched ownership to publisher John DeAugustine of Saratoga Springs. The newspaper has been in the Hume-Lind family for 130 years, and the sale was a 12-year effort with the family, The Daily Gazette board, and employees.

DeAugustine became the paper's publisher in 2013 and brought more than 20 years of experience from Hearst Corporation to the business.
