Steve Buscemi was the victim of a "random act of violence" in New York City last week. The actor was walking in the Kips Bay neighborhood of Manhattan just before noon on May 8 when an unidentified assailant punched him in the face.
According to the New York Post, the attack was unprovoked and the man who punched him fled the scene. Police are searching for the alleged assailant, who was bearded and wearing a baseball cap, a blue T-shirt, and black sweatpants.
