Dabholkar case: Not happy with verdict, says Prithviraj Chavan; dubs Sanatan Sanstha 'terrorist' outfit
Former Maharashtra chief minister Prithviraj Chavan expressed dissatisfaction with the court verdict in the Dr Narendra Dabholkar murder case, stating that the role of the Sanatan Sanstha, a right-wing outfit, as a "terrorist organisation" was not adequately addressed. He highlighted that the mastermind behind Dabholkar's murder and any connection to other similar killings remained unclear. Chavan also mentioned efforts during his tenure to recommend a ban on the Sanatan Sanstha, indicating that the demand is still pending with the Centre.
