Feeling the wind rush against you as the open road unfurls before your eyes – for many, riding a motorcycle represents freedom and adventure. But with adventure often comes inherent risk, and motorcyclists face hazards other drivers do not. According to Statista, around 5,900 motorcyclists died in crashes in 2021, a rise of 400 compared to the previous year. Furthermore, NHTSA data shows that motorcyclists are about 28 times more likely to die in a crash than someone riding in a passenger car.
