ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An historic mansion in Albany is reopening its doors this week to visitors. Cherry Hill tells a story of America through the lives and experiences of one Albany household.
Built in 1787 for Philip and Maria Van Rensselaer, Cherry Hill served as a home until the 1960s when it opened up as a museum. Cherry Hill holds thousands of artifacts and manuscripts, all of which were accumulated by the homeowners over the course of five generations.
